1957 ~ Mr. Kent Ellery Morgan ~ 2021 "Some of his favorite pass times included bicycling around town, even to the golf course taking his clubs with him on his ride, going to Timmie’s for his favorite coffee, reading the obituaries and meeting friends and strangers, being generous to a fault, and purchasing lottery tickets".

Mr. Kent Ellery Morgan passed away at his home unexpectantly, on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the age of 64 years. Kent was born on March 26, 1957, and raised in the Camrose area. During his youth Kent loved spending time with family, including all of his siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins and especially babies. He loved the country life, animals; especially horses and dogs, spending time with people and visiting. He had a vivid imagination and was a wonderful story teller. Even in his younger years his work ethic was second to none when he worked for Broda Drywall in Calgary; his boss reported he was so dependable that he would show up for work early every day, on his bicycle, even during severe winter storms. He carried that work ethic into his later years with Tony Roma’s and most recently Earls Kitchen and Bar Restaurant until his passing. Some of his favorite pass times included bicycling around town, even to the golf course taking his clubs with him on his ride, going to Timmie’s for his favorite coffee, reading the obituaries and meeting friends and strangers, being generous to a fault, and purchasing lottery tickets. Kent was one fortunate purchaser of a scratch and win ticket, that altered his life and gave him the opportunity to buy his own home that he was very proud of. Kent will be lovingly remembered by his family; Ted (Oum), Jerry Patrick, Val (Gloria), Merrill (Corey), Crystal (Craig), Laurel, David (Lani) and James; twelve nieces and nephews and thirteen great-nieces and nephews. He will be fondly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Kent was pre-deceased by his parents, Valentine Richard Charles Morgan and Idella Autumn (nee Nesbitt) and great niece, Scarlett Emalyn Martinez-Herrera. Relatives and friends are invited to come and pay their respects at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, September 17, 2021 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Kent’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
