Lacombe physicians urge citizens to get vaccinated amid ER COVID surge

Physicians at Family Medical Associates in Lacombe are urging their residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

In a blog posted to their website on Sept. 3, 2021, they say the COVID-19 pandemic is “raging through our community and inundating the Lacombe ER.”

The physicians say the common factor amongst the people who are truly sick, is being unvaccinated.

“While the vaccine is not a guarantee that you will not get COVID, being double vaccinated does improve your chances of recovery and lessens your symptoms.

“Our physicians are pleading with you to reconsider your stance on vaccination and get the vaccine ASAP. If not for yourself, then for the beautiful community of Lacombe and surrounding areas.”
