John "Jack" Larry Jackshaw

John “Jack” Larry Jackshaw of Cochrane passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Known as “Jack” to his family and friends, he was a loving man who lived his life in service to others. Born in Calgary, raised in Bashaw, he attended UBC, SAIT and Portland. He loved hockey and helping others but above all he loved his family. Jack’s faith in Christ was at the center of his life. He passed away peacefully at home and will be dearly missed. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Donna; three sons, Ken (Lee) Jackshaw, Joel Jackshaw, and Larry (Cheryl) Jackshaw; two daughters, Melissa (Tim) Sawatsky and Rebecca Jackshaw, and nine grandchildren – Jessica, Jordan, Clayton, Lindsay, Emma, Calista, Alaina, Karley and Kelsey. Jack was predeceased by his bother Ted Jackshaw. A private family interment will be held at Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer.
