Innisfail RCMP investigate attempted robbery

Mounties in Innisfail are hoping you can help them identify a suspect in an attempted robbery last week.

On July 5, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Innisfail RCMP received a call of an attempted robbery in the area of 48 Street and 49 Ave in Innisfail where an unknown female attempted to rob the victim.

Police say the female suspect then assaulted the victim and was last seen getting into a vehicle described as a late model dark colored Ford Fusion and fleeing the area.

The female suspect is described as Caucasian, slim build, in her 40’s with several tattoos on her arms and having dyed red hair.

Innisfail RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this incident or identifying the female suspect and the vehicle involved.
