It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Coral Breanne ‘Cori’ Lassu (nee Turk) on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Cori committed her life to family and those close to her. She gave selflessly of her time, talents and love. One of her favorite pastimes was making crafts; especially once her grandchildren came along. She would graciously offer her homemade Christmas ornaments to anyone who asked. Cori loved her family fiercely and would do anything for them. Cori loved making Sunday breakfast for Gary, Mandy and Chris, and then eventually, Chris’s wife, Toni, and her granddaughters, Addison, Quinn and Josephine. Cori sent meals and baking, and generously gave her time to “adventures” with Addy, Quinn and Joey. She never refused a request from her granddaughters to spend time with her. Cori was always willing to help, due to her huge heart and love for her family. On a daily basis, Cori would demonstrate to everyone around her a vast amount of love, caring, nurturing, compassion and unwavering selflessness. She was devoted to her daily conversations with her daughter, Mandy, who called every day. Cori waited daily for those conversations, and they meant so much to her. She was especially close to Mandy. Cori was a true beacon of light in a time when things had been so bleak. Our hearts are breaking over this incredible loss. Cori will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband, Gary, her daughter, Mandy and her son, Chris and his wife, Toni and their three daughters, Addison, Quinn and Josephine. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Brad, Carli and Brice, along with their families. Cori was predeceased by her parents, Patricia and Ray Turk.
