Murray Folkins, 68, of Didsbury formerly, passed away suddenly on June 28th 2021 in Didsbury. Dad was born in Hampton NB to Myrtle & Everett on July 4, 1952. Where he lived until he relocated his family to Calgary in 1997. Dad worked as a Carpenter for his entire life as it was his passion and he took pride in everything he did. One thing’s for certain, he loved his kids, grandkids and great grandkids! There isn’t one person who doesn’t have great memories with him. He was the best dad and grampy a kid could ask for. Dad was preceded in death by his mother Myrtle in 2012 and his father Everett in 2016.
He is survived by his daughters Shelley Harper (Alex) of Didsbury AB, Kimberly Folkins (Bryan) of Calgary AB. Grandchildren Keenan Folkins (Emily) of Calgary AB, Kelsey Folkins (Brandon) of Olds AB, Connor Harper of Calgary AB and Zachary Harper of Didsury AB. Great Grandchildren Domanic, Julian, Aiden and Landon all of Olds AB. His former, wife Susan Folkins (Kevin) of Calgary AB. Siblings Jeff Folkins (Nicole) of Hampton NB, Terry Goggin (Milton) of Elgin NB, Vicki Campbell (Darrell) of Quispamsis and Doug Folkins (Katie) of London Ont. Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
