It is with deep sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Stan Schultz, of Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, June 18th, at the age of 83 years. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Stan will be lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen of 63 years; children: Michael, John, Joanne (Tim Mack); grandchildren: Baeley (Conor), Kasydi (Brad), and Dalainey (Evan); great-grandchildren: Saege, Nash and Leo; brother Ron as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was a true family man and loved spoiling his grandchildren. Stan loved fishing and also loved watching Rebel’s and Flame’s hockey, Yankee’s baseball, golf and many other sports. With his wife Eileen and friends, he travelled and cruised whenever they could. He was a career employee with Woodward’s Department stores ending up as store manager in Red Deer in 1981. His retirement job at the Riverbend Golf Course saw him go from booking tee times to General Manager. Stan lived his life to the fullest with a great sense of humor and a level of kindness and selflessness to a fault. He will be dearly missed! If desired, Memorial Donations in Stan’s honor may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.reddeerhospice.com or to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre at www.rdrhfoundation.com. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
