Charges withdrawn for suspect in weapons and stolen property seizure in Rocky Mountain House
Charges have been dropped for one of three people charged in a weapons and stolen property seizure in Rocky Mountain House last year.
Jennifer Kimberley McDougall, 34, was previously facing 14 counts in the March 23, 2020 incident.
That’s when the pilot Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) in Rocky Mountain House seized a loaded sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, other weapons and stolen property during a traffic stop.
Mounties say it was shortly after 12:00 p.m. when the CRU team observed a vehicle with a stolen license plate. Three occupants in the vehicle were arrested with a search revealing several weapons, drugs believed to be crystal methamphetamine, a large amount of stolen securities, documents, bank records, and Mastercard numbers.
