Red Deer adds one COVID-19 case, down to 119 active
Red Deer’s active COVID-19 case count is down another 18 in the last day to 119, the lowest total since March 20.
After hitting a record high active caseload of 911 on May 8 (five Saturdays ago), the active caseload has dropped all but two days, including 41.4 per cent over the past seven days.
Recoveries sit at 5,556, an increase of 19 over the last day as the total number of cases attributed to Red Deer rose by one to 5,715. The number of deaths in Red Deer linked to COVID-19 is 40, with the last one reported May 31.
In the past week, the city has added just 46 cases, with 130 recoveries, and zero deaths.
