It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert with family by his side in Olds at the age of 71 years. His joys were family, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, horse shoes, curling, golf, baseball, basketball, and travels to BC and Haida Gwaii. Robert loved exploring and trekking the back country in every region he visited. He is survived by his wife Paulette; three children Barbara (Marty), Leslie (Shaun) and Chris; his beautiful handsome grandboys Andrew and Carson; mother Betty; siblings Pat, Karen (Tom), Geneva, Hazel, David (Carole), Al (Tricia); as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Roy; brother-in-law Tony as well as special uncles Willard and Albert. As per his wishes there will be no funeral service.
In a salute to Robert, raise a glass and sit and listen to his favourite song… “Una Paloma Blanca” sung by the George Baker Selection.
