It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Wesley Robert ‘Wes’ Hoover of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 66 years. Wes was born on April 12, 1954 in Berwyn, Alberta to Robert and Cora Hoover. He was raised in Worsley, Alberta and then resided in Sylvan Lake. He enjoyed camping, golfing and travelling, wherever and whenever, he could. Wes was a manager at A & W for many years, in Red Deer and Sylvan Lake. He was happy when he was sent on conventions to see the world. Wes will be lovingly remembered by his children, Robert Molyneux (Michelle), Ashlee Hoover (David) and Donald Hoover (Abi) and his first grandchild on the way. Wes will be sadly missed by his mother, Cora Hoover; and his siblings, Brian (Susan) Hoover, Darlene Hoover (Ken Hessler), Brenda Krahn (Donovan Appleby), Karrie Hoover and Bev (Don) Calder; brother in law, Charles Sherman; as well as many family members and dear friends.
