Lacombe Memorial Centre relaxes more restrictions

The Lacombe Memorial Centre (LMC) is now available for more event bookings such as small weddings and funerals – both without receptions – as part of Step Two of the provincial path forward relaunch.

General public access to the common areas is still not recommended. Physical distancing and disinfection protocols are in effect.

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, recent international travel, or recent close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 are not to enter the LMC.

The facility has posted procedures for entering, using and leaving the LMC. Staff will set up rooms in a modified way to adhere to provincial health requirements, and occupancy limits are updated for all rooms and one-way traffic measures in specified areas. The public will have limited access to the washrooms, and the City still discourages browsing or lingering in the building.
