1976 ~ Mr. Ron (Ronnie) Makepeace ~ 2021 "Ronnie loved adventure and having fun".

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the sudden passing of Ron (Ronnie) Makepeace On Sunday February 7, 2021 at the age of 44 years old. Ronnie was born April 5, 1976 to Brian and Mary Makepeace in Bathurst New Brunswick. He grew up in Douglastown NB until deciding to head to Alberta to pursue a career as a pipeliner in the oil and gas industry. Ronnie worked hard at building his career. He married Melissa and they have two beautiful children Kaden and Karlee.
Ronnie worked hard and played hard. Ronnie loved adventure and having fun. He enjoyed nothing more than camping, ATVing to boating with his family and friends. He loved to travel and would go any chance he got especially to one of his favourite destinations Cabo San Lucas. There’s not much Ronnie wouldn’t do he loved life and he enjoyed every minute of it. Ronnie had the biggest heart and there was never anything he wouldn’t do for anyone he met. Ronnie loved to help out anyone he could. Ronnie’s zest for life was infectious and his drive to grow his career was inspiring. He worked hard to provide for his family and provided an amazing life for them. His career was extremely important and loved to work and loved the company he worked for, Arnett and Burgess Oilfield Construction. He was a true pipeliner! He will be missed by so many co-workers and friends.
He will be sadly missed and always remember by his parents Brian and Mary Makepeace, mother in law Lois Chambers, grandmother Theresa McCarthy, wife Melissa Makepeace, children Kaden and Karlee Makepeace, brother Scott (Amy) Makepeace and children Emily, Alyssa, Sophia and grandson Maddox, several uncles and aunts and cousins. Ronnie was predeceased by grandparents Carl McCarthy, Ronald and Madeline Makepeace. Due to the current covid restrictions there will be a private family service Tuesday February. 16, 2021 but will be live streamed for friends and family to attend. Later this summer a celebration of life will take place to honour Ronnie. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to stars air ambulance at www.stars.ca
