Everett Jay “Chip” Belt

Everett Jay “Chip” Belt, 66, passed away very suddenly on January 14, 2021 at Red Deer Regional Hospital, Red Deer, Alberta.
Chip was born in Camrose, Alberta on November 22, 1954 to Don and Hazel Belt. He attended school in Sundre, Alberta, graduating in 1972. He attended Mountainview Bible College in Didsbury, where he met and fell in love with Wendy McKilligan. Chip and Wendy were married April 5, 1975 and resided in Red Deer, Alberta until his passing. Chip loved the Lord and was actively involved in CrossRoads Church.
Chip is survived by his wife, Wendy; son Timothy; daughter Mandy and son-in-law Kevin and granddaughters, Kaelyn and Sienna; two brothers, Dale (Betty) and Kerry (Allison); three sisters, Charlene (Randal), Heather (Paul) and Joy (Jeff); as well as nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws and many friends. Chip was predeceased by his father Don and mother Hazel; father-in-law Art McKilligan and mother-in-law Jean McKilligan.
A Celebration of Chip’s life will be held by invititation only due to COVID restrictions on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 1:00 pm at CrossRoads Church, 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County, Alberta.
For those who could not be invited due to the restrictions, the service will be livestreamed on the Crossroads Church website at https://www.crossroadschurch.ca/livefunerals.
