Innisfail RCMP charge man with “exposing nudity”

A 68-year-old Innisfail man is facing multiple charges after allegedly exposing himself to children last week.

Following a complaint lodged on Jan. 13 about an adult male exposing his naked body, RCMP arrested the male and charges have been laid.

Information provided to the Innisfail RCMP was that a male was seen in a residence doorway exposing himself while children passed the residence. Mounties say an investigation was conducted and sufficient evidence gathered, which led to the man’s arrest.

Terry Haskell is charged with four counts of committing an indecent act, four counts of exposing nudity, and four more counts of fail to comply with court imposed conditions.

Haskell remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Red Deer court on Jan. 21.

RCMP appreciates that the community members affected by these incidents came forward to report the alleged incident.

Police say contact has been made with the local school board for their awareness.
