Industrial accident northwest of Rocky Mtn. House leaves man in critical condition

A man was flown to hospital in critical condition following an accident at an industrial site northwest of Rocky Mountain House.

It was at 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, January 10 when Clearwater Regional Fire Rescue Service received a call about an incident at the site 60 km northwest of Rocky Mountain House where a young male had been seriously injured.

STARS air ambulance attended and flew the 22-year-old male to Red Deer Regional Hospital in serious, non-life threatening condition.

RCMP was called to scene for the call as well. Cpl. Laurel Scott stated that there was nothing criminal about the incident and that Occupational Health and Safety would be conducting an investigation.
