Walter Striemer

Walter Striemer of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on January 2, 2021 at the age of 83 years.
Walter was born in Hague, Saskatchewan on February 21, 1937. He moved to Alberta when he was eight years old. He went to school in Raymond, Alberta until the eighth grade. He got a job on a farm and worked there until his late 20s. Then he moved to Calgary, where he worked in a sheet metal plant until he retired at age 65. He moved to Red Deer in November 2016, where he resided until his death. He enjoying watching Jeopardy! and playing Scrabble.
Walter is lovingly remembered by brothers Rienie Striemer and Donald Striemer, and sisters Gladys La Barre, Evelyn Day and Hilda Kroeker. He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Luella and Linda, his brother Ed and numerous nieces.
A private family interment will be held at Alto Reste Cemetery.
