It is with a heavy heart that we announce on Saturday, December 26, 2020, Krista Lillian Gamble, daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece and friend passed away suddenly in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 36 years. She also self-identified as a unicorn. Anyone that knew her understands because she was one of a kind, beautiful, mystical and bright and if you look close enough she sparkled in the light. Krista was born on April 6th 1984 in Red Deer, Alberta to father, Larry Gamble, mother, Val McCullough and sister, Jacquie. Krista and Jacquie have always had a very special bond from day one. Krista went to elementary school in Sylvan Lake and spent her childhood with younger brothers, Branden and Justin Gamble between Sylvan Lake, Red Deer and of course her favorite place, the family farm near Ponoka with Grandparents Lillian and Lyle Gamble Where she loved cooking with Grandma and growing her garden. In 2001, beautiful Leah Lynn was born to Krista and Sheldon Ford while residing in Ponoka and Edson, Alberta. Krista loved her little girl with all her heart! She was and always has been the highlight of her life. Krista traveled a lot throughout the next 20 years always trying to improve and grow. She called her travels “Adventures” which is exactly what they were. Whether she was with her Sister Jacquie in a few different cities, Kelowna BC visiting her mother Val, Ponoka with Marla, Creston BC with friend Jasmine, In Victoria BC where she stayed for over a year on a journey of healing, Traveling throughout Canada with her RIBFEST Family or in Red Deer with best friends Kim (Sierra & Silas) Hughes, Jen, Caroline, Rachel, Jazzy, Bianca & Chris, Kerry, Cody, Kyle and Dougie (Arianna & Cindy). Long-time family friends Jason, Jessica and Jamie Gilbert. Her love, Boyfriend, David Clark and so many more! Way too many to name. Everyone she encountered was special to her and she impacted the lives of many. Especially her dogs, Deuce and Ellie. Despite her obstacles, Krista was a overcomer. She had perseverance like no other. She worked with her Dad Larry on and off throughout the years at his Tree Stubbing Business Best Price Tree Service, went to Academy Of Hair Design for Hairdressing, LCN for Nail Tech, she recently earned her GED and was currently in CDI College working on her Business & Digital marketing Diploma. Krista is predeceased by her father, Larry Gamble which has now taken her home.
