On December 30, 2020, Nancy passed away peacefully into the arms of God.
Nancy is survived by her two sons Michael (Diana) and Patrick (Janice), five grandchildren (Katie, Jerrin, Jordan, Jase and Tari), ten great-grandchildren (Rory, Cassandra, Shianne, Levi, Grace, Rylie, Dominic, Elliot, Rowan and Remi) and one great-great-grandchild (Alana).
Nancy was pre-deceased by her loving husband Marvin, her brother Roy and her half-sibling’s Malcom and Jean.
In recent years, Nancy was united with her eight surviving half-sibling’s that she did not know she had. They are Gerry, Jacquie, Colleen, Alec, Leo, Bernice, Greg, and Anne. The relationship was discovered on a genealogy website by her half-sister Anne and Michael’s sister-in-law Bev Sillito.
Nancy was an RCAF veteran and spent her post military career years in retail management. She spent several of her retirement years volunteering for the Red Deer Hospital Voluntary Association.
Wither her many friends at Legacy Estates she was an avid bridge, crib and scrabble player.
It was Nancy’s wish that there would be no service or interment during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers Nancy would love donations be made to The Red Deer Hospice Society.
