It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Nelson Galendez Cardoza Jr. of Red Deer, Alberta, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the age of 56 years. Nelson Jr. was born on April 18, 1964 in the Philippines. He was the youngest son of Nathalia and Nelson Cardoza Sr., youngest brother to Anacleto Cardoza and Marites Oaminal. In 2008, he moved to Canada, settled in Red Deer and reunited with his family five years later. Nelson enjoyed a beautiful happy marriage and life with his wife, Fuji, along with their three children. He was a kind, caring and loving husband, father and friend. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He was a big basketball and “Lakers” fan. He also loved music, nature, hiking and travelling. Nelson will be deeply missed by his family, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and coworkers. Nelson will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and wife of thirty years, Fuji and their sons, Marc, Rey and Denny. A Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at www.parklandfuneralhome.com. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
