“Innisfail Warm Up!” encourages residents to get out and support local

Nov 17, 2020 | 9:08 AM

The Town of Innisfail has launched a new program encouraging residents to participate in pandemic-friendly recreational activities while supporting local businesses.

Innisfail Warm Up!” challenges residents to grab a beverage from one of the participating businesses, then complete one of the Innisfail Warm Up! challenges. Each day of the program will feature a special hot drink from each of the participating businesses.

Here’s how to participate:

Step 1 – Check out each partner location on the day that they are hosting the Innisfail Warm Up!

– Wednesday, November 18 – The Coffee Cottage, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Special: Gingerbread Latte

– Thursday, November 19 – Field & Forge Brewing Co., 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Special: TBD

– Friday, November 20 – Dark Woods Coffee Roasting, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Special: Latte

– Saturday, November 21 – Collective House, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Special: Chai Latte

Step 2 – Purchase a hot drink – especially the one of the specials that each location is featuring.

Step 3 – Choose one of the Innisfail Warm Up! activities to participate in:

– Take time for someone (in your cohort) to hear how they are doing!

– Go for a walk! (By yourself or with someone in your cohort, or appropriately physically distanced if not in your cohort)

– Take a moment in nature!

– Explore Innisfail!

– Treat yourself!

Step 4 – While you are doing one of these activities, snap a photo to share that you are taking part in the Innisfail Warm Up! Share it one either Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and include the hashtag #innisfailwarmup when you create the post. You will be entered into a draw for a gift-basket filled with terrific Innisfail items.
