Whitecourt Wolverines team member tests positive for COVID-19

This weekend’s AJHL exhibition games between the Whitecourt Wolverines and Drayton Valley Thunder have been cancelled after a member of the Wolverines organization tested positive for COVID-19.

“The team will activate the required AHS protocols. The League exhibition schedule will be adjusted as required. For privacy reasons, no further comments will be provided,” league officials said in a brief statement.

The Wolverines and Thunder were slated to play Friday night in Drayton Valley and Saturday in Whitecourt.
