Three suspects sought in relation to attempted home invasion

Oct 30, 2020 | 9:48 AM

RCMP are asking the public for help to identify three individuals involved in an attempted home invasion this month in Red Deer’s Highland Green neighbourhood.

Police say it was about 10 p.m. on Oct. 22 when members responded to a call about the incident.

Video surveillance at the home captured three people approaching the home, with one of them attempting to enter through the door. As that suspect entered, he was confronted by the homeowner and all three individuals fled on foot.

The three individuals are described as:

SUSPECT 1: Caucasian male, 30-40-years-old, wearing blue cargo pants, brown ankle boots, dark jacket with a hood, black shoulder bag, sunglasses, orange gloves, orange and blue Under Armour backpack and a backwards Blue Jays baseball cap.

SUSPECT 2: Caucasian male, grey/white sweater with the hood up, dark sweat pants with white lettering down left leg near calf, white socks and dark shoes.

SUSPECT 3: Male, shorter in height than other two suspects, black shiny jacket, dark Adidas pants with logo on left pant left and white stripes down the side of leg, dark mask, ball cap, white socks, dark shoes and carrying an object in left hand.

RCMP strongly advise against risking your own safety by approaching these individuals.
