Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ Allen MacGregor, beloved husband of Mrs. Maxine MacGregor of Red Deer, went home to Glory, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the age of 79 years. Bob began his career in the Oilfield in 1953, and found the work he loved. He retired in 2002, as owner of his Hotshot Oilfield Service. Retirement was filled with camping, reading and enjoying coffee on the deck. Bob will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Bob leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Maxine, his sons, Doug (Kim) and Dave (Alanna) and his three grandchildren, Daniel, Jayce and Emily. He will also be sadly missed by his sister, Lillian and his brother, Don (Della); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, step children and step grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by three brothers, Gary, David and Bill and a sister, Marcia. At Bob’s request, no formal funeral will be held. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their grateful thanks to the Doctors and Nurses on Unit 22, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for their kindness and compassion to Bob.
