1941 ~ In Loving Memory of Mr. Robert Churchill ‘Bob’ Mick ~ 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Robert Churchill ‘Bob’ Mick of Red Deer at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Bob was born on December 12, 1941 at Pembroke, Ontario. He worked as a Clerk for Canadian Pacific Railway; and then worked as a Supply Technician for thirty-three years, in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Bob and Barbara were married in 1964, in Springbank, Alberta. Bob lived in various locations including: Foymount, Sioux Lookout, Winnipeg, Washington, Ottawa, Yellowknife, Edmonton and then Red Deer County, until his passing. Bob and Barbara enjoyed twenty-five years as snowbirds in Yuma, Arizona. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-six years, Barbara Mick; their children, Cathy (Joseph) Parenteau and Ken (Stacy) Mick and his grandchildren, Tyler and Jesse Mick. He will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Allan Mick, Gordon (Lucille) Mick, Randy (Beverly) Mick, Shirley Kinakin, Helen Funnell, Pearl (George) Brown and Marilyn Johnson; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Dorothy Mick and his brothers-in-law, Bud Funnell and Phil Johnson. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
