Fire at Sylvan Lake go cart track

A popular attraction in Sylvan Lake has been devastated by fire this morning.

The fire at Lakeside Go-Karts & Mini-Golf on Lakeshore Drive broke out at about 7 a.m. Sylvan Lake Fire Department crews had the blaze knocked down within an hour.

Fifteen fighters and four apparatus responded to the call. RCMP also attended to the scene to handle traffic control.

No further details are available at this time.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
