Deer Park search warrant ends with arrest of repeat offender

On Wednesday the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team and Police Dog Services arrested a male in Deer Park after an investigation led to a residence in the neighbourhood.
Police say the incident began when the male, a known prohibited driver and repeat offender, fled from police attempting to conduct a traffic stop.
The male driver was identified to be in a house in Deer Park and a warrant was authorized for police to enter the home to arrest the male.
Zachary Purdy, 29, faces the following charges:
