Retiring RDC faculty member made Professor Emeritus
Red Deer College has named its first ever Professor Emeritus.
Dr. Torben Andersen is being given the honour as he retires after a 38-year career with RDC.
Andersen most recently served as the college’s Associate Vice President Academic, University Transition.
“This special designation is reflective of Dr. Andersen’s outstanding record of teaching with the many students he taught, his scholarly contributions to economics, and his collaborative spirit and strategic leadership at the College,” says Dr. Peter Nunoda, RDC President.
