Constance “Connie” Price (nee Gourley) of Red Deer AB passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on June 22, 2020 at the age of 97 years.
Connie was born in Manchester, England on April 22, 1923. She came to Canada with her parents in 1929, settled on a farm east of Penhold and attended a country school. During the War, she worked on a cattle ranch west of Nanton in the Porcupine Hills area.

Connie was a long-time active member of St. Leonard’s-on-the-Hill Anglican Church. She was a talented, patient, independent and hard-working woman who could put her hand to anything and accomplish it. Her passions were horseback riding, reading, wildlife and nature, and her family and friends. Connie was predeceased by her husband “Bud” and son-in-law Rex Turple.
She will be sadly missed by her children – Bev Turple, Ken (Grace) Price, Rhonda (Glen) Thomlison, her five grandchildren Garrett, Allison, Marnie (Ryan), Ryan and Steven, five great-grandchildren and long-time family friends Norreen and Bruce MacArthur.
