Best in housing honoured virtually by BILD

The best in home building were honoured this week by BILD-Central Alberta.

The Excellence in Housing awards were held virtually this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Winners were selected for the new home construction, renovation and design categorie by an out-of-region panel of industry pros, while the association adjudicated the nominees for several other categories.

The winners were:

*INDUSTRY ICON AWARD: It was our great pleasure to recognize Terry Loewen with this year’s Industry Icon Award. Terry was presented with the award for having made a lasting and positive mark on the community and the Central Alberta housing industry for over 20 years.

*PRESIDENT’S AWARDS: Leigh Stuart, Landon Resta, Derek Fredeen, and Carl Sauve received this year’s Presidents Awards. The President’s Awards recognize volunteer service and leadership to the association and the residential construction industry.
