50/50 cash lottery still a go

Red Deer Kinsmen Dream Home Lottery postponed

The Red Deer Kinsmen have postponed their 2020 Red Deer Kinsmen Dream Home Lottery due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Kinsmen announced their “difficult decision” to do so on their Facebook page.

“Every year, our largest fundraising project brings the community together to help directly support many important charities and organizations that improve our city,” the Kinsmen wrote. “Therefore, because it is everyone’s social responsibility to stay home and try their best to stay safe and healthy to help our community as a whole stay safe and healthy, we simply cannot move forward with the Dream Home fundraising project in 2020.”

The Red Deer Kinsmen will still be going ahead with their 50/50 Cash Lottery Raffle, with a chance to win up to $100,000, starting in September.
