Alberta officials share COVID-19 update for May 7

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health and other officials will give an update on the COVID-19 situation in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak at a media conference scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. (Thursday, May 7). You can watch it live below.

On Wednesday, Alberta reported 70 new cases of COVID-19 for a total of 5,963.

Alberta’s death toll from the virus stands at 112.

There have been a total of 3,552 recoveries in the province thus far.
