Sylvan Lake RCMP arrest break-in suspects in action
Sylvan Lake RCMP are crediting alert members of the public in helping them arrest suspects involved in two separate break and enters this week.
Over two days, Sylvan Lake Mounties responded to two calls of break and enters in progress. In both cases, police say the culprits were caught in the act, arrested and charged. RCMP are commending the public for being alert to the suspicious behaviour and calling 911.
On Apr. 5 at 1:26 a.m., RCMP responded to a call from a citizen who noticed a truck at a neighbouring garage in Birchcliff.
Mounties located two people inside the unfinished garage and they were arrested without incident. Police say the truck they were in was stolen earlier out of Red Deer.
