Rebels to pick 6th overall at WHL Bantam Draft

The Red Deer Rebels own the sixth overall selection heading into the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

The draft lottery took place Wednesday morning at the league’s head office in Calgary.

Prince George won the lottery and moved up two spots to take the second overall selection.

The Regina Pats own the first overall selection. Moose Jaw is third followed by Tri-City, Saskatoon and the Rebels.

The 2020 WHL Bantam Draft was to take place in Red Deer on May 7, but the event has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The draft will instead take place online on Wednesday, April 22.
