Preliminary hearing booked for pair charged in fatal Lacombe shooting
A preliminary hearing will take place later this year for two people charged in a fatal shooting in Lacombe last December.
Tyler John Campbell, 27, and Amie Joanne Rogers, 21, both of Lacombe, will be in Red Deer provincial court on Nov. 16, 2020 when it’ll be determined whether their case has enough evidence to go to trial.
The pair stand jointly charged with second-degree murder, conspire to commit murder, and robbery with a firearm, while Campbell also faces a count of breach of conditions in the Dec. 15, 2019 incident.
That’s when Lacombe Police Service responded to the Lacombe Hospital where a male was admitted after suffering a gunshot wound. The victim, 20-year-old Jeffery Kraft, later passed away from his injuries.
