RDC Queens Volleyball sweep opener at ACAC Championships

The RDC Queens kicked off their run at the ACAC Women’s Volleyball Championships in Medicine Hat with a straight-sets win Thursday night over Lakeland College.

In the first set, RDC had 14 kills on 31 attempts while only committing five errors. Lakeland, on the other hand, had 35 attempts had only eight kills and three errors. The Queens took the first set 25-18.

Lakeland made things interesting in the second set but was unable to even it up with RDC winning 25-22.

In the third Set, RDC decided they were not looking for a fourth and took full control of the match. On 27 attempts, the Queens had 12 kills and only two errors, while Lakeland had eight kills with 31 attempts and eight errors. RDC Queens took the set 25-16 to sweep Lakeland 3-0 and advance to the semi-finals.
