COMMUNITY INPUT WELCOME

Sylvan Lake Municipal Library asks for community input

Feb 12, 2020 | 7:10 AM

SYLVAN LAKE- From 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library is hosting a drop-in event to update its Plan of Service, a document that lays out the guiding principles for all library activities.

“Our motto for this event is Your Community, Your Library,” says Library Director Andrea Newland. “We want to know what goals and priorities will support the community.

“We want to hear from everyone, both library users and people who don’t visit the library. It’s important for people to know the library exists to meet the needs of the whole community. If we don’t already offer services you need, what can we do to change that?”

“We encourage people to view the current Plan of Service at https://sylvanlibrary.prl.ab.ca/about-us/guiding-principles and let us know where you think we should go from here.”
