Daxton Robert Woods, born July 16, 1992, was a kind, gracious and loving man.
Born in Kelowna, B.C. to parents Brent and Daphne, Daxton lived and worked in many places, but Red Deer was always home. Deeply devoted to his family, Daxton was fiercely protective of his mother and loving toward his father. He cherished his friends, who were like family to him.
He made many of his close friends during his time at Lindsay Thurber high school, before taking classes online in both business and accounting. Daxton loved to build; from computers to cars, he loved putting things together.
Though he was most comfortable at home in a pair of Lululemons, Daxton also loved to be out in nature, camping, fishing or talking around a fire with his friends on May long weekend.
Dedicated and hardworking, Daxton wore many hats over the years, including foreman, fiduciary, and accountant. Daxton was a role model and leader in any arena he entered, touching the lives of those who worked alongside him.
He was also a leader in his family. He provided wisdom and guidance to his siblings, parents, and friends. Daxton led a life where people could rely on him and he was always there for them.
He is survived by his parents; his siblings Jamie (Hailey), Harry (Kalyn), Emma and Louis; his grandparents Harry (Deborah) and Rose; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins; and his fiancée, Skye.
