Rebels trade veteran forward Davis to Lethbridge

With the WHL trade deadline coming up this Friday, the Red Deer Rebels have made a deal.

The club sent 20-year-old forward Brett Davis to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Monday in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft.

The native of Oakbank, Manitoba spent just over a season with the Rebels after being acquired along with Cameron Hausinger from the Kootenay Ice on Dec. 1, 2018.

In 78 games with the Rebels, Davis recorded 22 goals and 33 assists for 55 points. He also had two assists in four playoff games.

Davis returns to Lethbridge where he started his WHL career after being drafted by the Hurricanes in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft (round four, 78^th overall).
