Shirley May Glover

Shirley May Glover of Red Deer AB passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on December 25, 2019 at the age of 82 years.
Shirley was born in Red Deer to parents Herb and Esther Corrigan and was the youngest of 14 children. She was raised on the family farm in the Valley Centre district and attended Valley Centre School for nine years then finished her education at the Composite High School in Red Deer.
Shirley worked at various jobs in Red Deer until her marriage to Don Glover on November 26, 1960 and moved to the family farm in 1964. She was always active in the various community events and was a strong supporter of the Hillsdown W.I.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don Glover; sons Darcy (Amanda), Brian (Cyndy), Rob (Wendy); son-in-law Duane Clarke; six grandchildren and two great grand children as well as numerous other family members and friends. Shirley was predeceased by a daughter Lori Clarke and grandson Nolan Glover.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at the Valley Centre Community Hall on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society
