Mr. Kerry George William Schropfer left this world on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 65 years. Kerry was born on March 4, 1953 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to George and Kathleen Schropfer. He grew up in East Lawrencetown, overlooking Porters Lake. He moved with his family to St. Huber, Quebec. There, he married and had two children, Nancy and Patrick Schropfer of Montreal, Quebec. Kerry left Quebec for Ontario and built a cabin on Sheffield Lake; where he enjoyed many fun times and made lasting friendships. He was known for his exceptional carpentry skills. Finally, Kerry moved to Alberta to be closer to his family for his retirement. Kerry will always be remembered by his family; and Erika Petrik Robinson, his loyal and longest life friend, who loved and cared deeply for him, because she found him to be an exceptional and rare human being.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.
Rest in Peace.
