George Edward “Ed” Dupuis

It is with great sadness that the family of George Edward Dupuis announces his peaceful passing on January 25, 2019, at the age of 99 years.
Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Emma and his children Beverly (Ray), Judy (Bob), Dennis (Brenda), Rick, Marlene (Pat), Sheila (Dale), Carla (Curt), and Karen. He will also be fondly remembered by his brother Sylvester, 20 grandchildren and numerous great-children, extended family and friends.
George was predeceased by both parents Lois Carpenter and Issac Dupuis, brother Pat Dupuis, son Floyd Dupuis and daughter Edna Killeen.
Born in Falher, Alberta he farmed with his brothers until they enlisted in World War II. Ed spent most of his life working in the trucking industry and travelled extensively throughout Canada and the US. He enjoyed having coffee with friends and family, talking about old times as they were very near and dear to him.
A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held Friday, February 8 at 1:00 pm. Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150 – 67 Street, Red Deer with James Toews officiating.
