Paul Matthew Norris of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 56 years. Paul is survived by his mother Helen Norris; brothers Bill (Jeanette), Wayne (fiancée Joanne), John (Rene) all of Newfoundland; sister Donna (Ray) Heffernan of Ontario as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Two very special close friends who had helped Paul in dealing with some of the life challenges he had faced over the last few years are Pastor Shane Young and Dave Ninkovich, both of Red Deer. Paul’s family thank you both for your friendship to Paul and being there for him. Paul was predeceased by his father William; sister Susanne Collins and nephew Jack Heffernan. Though he had dealt with a few struggles in his life, Paul had a heart of gold and truly cared about those around him. A Memorial Service for Paul will be held at Potters Hands, 4935 – 51 St., Red Deer AB on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. For those wishing to do so, memorial donations in Paul’s honor may be made directly to Potters Hand Ministries, PO Box 27093, Station M, Red Deer AB T4N 6X8.
