Trail closure in Riverlands

RED DEER- A portion of trail along the Red Deer River in Capstone will close Thursday, June 13.

The closure is expected to remain in place until October 31, but is dependent on weather.

During the closure, crews will be completing trail upgrades as part of the overall Capstone at Riverlands redevelopment project.

Work will include widening the trail along the river, installing pathway lighting and upgrades in the Canada 150 Square and South Riverwalk locations.

Trails users are asked to use the Capstone trail detour map (pdf) during the closure.
