Rocky Christians School students attended Clearwater County meeting
A grade 8/9 social studies class from Rocky Christens School took in Clearwater County’s regular council meeting on Tuesday, and were even referred to as the “shadow council.”
“What a better way to be involved in government then to see it from the ground up, no political parties involved but still people working together for the common goal,” says teacher Jacquelyn Magnus.
Students sat next to each of the councillors and a few times were allowed to take part and were asked what they would do in regards to certain situations.
