RED DEER- The Downtown Red Deer Market will open for the first time this season on May 29 and will continue every Wednesday until October 9.
The market provides a weekly opportunity for market enthusiasts, families and foodies to shop local.
It operates from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
At this year’s season launch, there will be a Spin-to-Win wheel where you can win prizes to kick off the market season.
The market welcomes back local and fresh producers from around central Alberta.
New and returning vendors will be selling products including fresh veggies and meat, baked goods, jams, jellies, and more.
In addition to vendors, the market features a Community Corner that offers space for up to two not-for-profit organizations per week, free of charge. Interested organizations are asked to contact Tammy Norris, Market Manager, for more information on the application process.
