Alberta High School Football week 5 power rankings

The latest Football Alberta high school power rankings are out following week four action.

The Tier 1 Lindsay Thurber Raiders (3-1) fell from the 8-spot to number 10 after a 24-17 loss to Tier 2 Hunting Hills. The Raiders have a bye in week five.

With the win, the Lightning (2-2) go from ranking 9th to 8th in the Tier 2 rankings.

They play Holy Trinity Academy out of Okotoks this coming week.

In Tier 3 action, Sylvan Lake (3-1) took out Camrose 28-22 but remain 6th in the rankings.

Drayton Valley’s Frank Maddock (2-1) stays at number 10 after completing their bye week. They have Ponoka in week five.

In Tier 4, Stettler remained perfect last week trouncing Ponoka 69-0. They remain in the 2-spot and face the unranked Wetaskiwin in week five.

The 6-man rankings are led by Breton (4-0) who defeated Millwoods Christian out of Edmonton 72-32 and Peace River 44-34. They have a bye next week.

Rimbey remains ranked third and beat Brooks’ St. Joseph 26-16 in week four. They also have a bye upcoming.

Caroline six-man squad is ranked sixth and lost to Hanna’s JC Charyk 68-20 this past week.
