Northside community centre damaged by vandals

RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the area of Glendale School late Sunday night or early Monday morning to please come forward.

Mounties received a call Monday regarding significant vandalism at the northside community centre currently under construction next to the school.

Police say the damage was discovered around 8:00 a.m. when staff attended the construction site between the school and Glendale Skate Park.

RCMP say windows were smashed on a tool trailer parked on the site and pipes were smashed in the building. In addition, vandals damaged a crane and sprayed a fire extinguisher around the site.
