McKinlay, McDowell, Graf in contention at Canadian Junior Golf Championship
Brady McKinlay no longer leads but remains in contention heading into the final round of the Canadian Junior Golf Championship in Medicine Hat.
McKinlay shot a four-over 75 during Wednesday’s third round and is now plus-one for the tournament. He’s two shots back of the overall lead shared by Ontario golfers Gerry Mei and Daniel George.
Chandler McDowell of Springbrook (Innisfail GC) turned in a two-over 73 Wednesday and is tied for sixth place. He’s one shot back of McKinlay at plus-two for the week.
Carter Graf of Sylvan Lake (Red Deer Golf & CC)moved into a tied for tenth after playing his best round of the week on Wednesday. Graf shot minus-one 70 to move to plus-three for the tournament.
