Man arrested in connection with German tourist shooting near Morley, released from custody
A man arrested in connection with the shooting of a German tourist on Highway 1A near Morley, Alberta August 2 has now been released.
RCMP say no charges have been laid against the man who was arrested on August 3, however their investigation remains ongoing.
According to Mounties, the 60-year-old male victim who was shot remains in hospital, still in critical, but stable condition and his family very appreciative of the support they’ve received.
Mounties say the driver of the R.V. who witnessed the incident did contact Cochrane RCMP and the media is thanked for getting the message out.
